Stations of the Cross

Something to Meditate on for Good Friday

I found these awhile back. They’re painted by artist Bruno Desroche and hang in St. Nizier Catholic Church in Lyon, France.

I’m not usually one for contemporary Stations of the Cross. I usually find them cheesy/saccharine at best or borderline heretical at worst, but these somehow manage to be timeless rather than kitsch.
